Al-Burhan: The war is at its end… RSF militia and its aides are in (Dustbin of History)
President of the Sudan Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has closed the door before any talk of a ceasefire in Sudan, and made its consent conditional on the withdrawal of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia from all cities and areas in which it is now present, stipulating its gathering in specific places.
He explained, when addressing the First Economic Conference to Confront the Challenges of War Tuesday in Portsudan, that all external solutions have failed and there are no successful experiences, stressing that the solution is internal.
Al-Burhan said that Sudan is a sovereign state and no one imposes his opinion upon it.
Al-Burhan stressed that the war is at its end and that the militia and its aides are in the dustbin of history. “There is no future or presence for the militia and its supporters in Sudan,” he added. He continued “There is no opportunity for armistice with Sudan’s enemies.”
