Al-Burhan thanks Russia, affirms Sudan’s rebuff British draft resolution

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, praised the Russian position supporting Sudan in the UN Security Council, noting that the government is working in line with Sudan’s friends.

Al-Burhan expressed, while addressing the inaugural session of the First Economic Conference in Portsudan Tuesday, Sudan’s unconsent to the draft resolution that was voted on, noting that the resolution has been undermining Sudan’s national sovereignty since its inception.

Al-Burhan added that the resolution did not include any condemnation of the rebellion, nor any condemnation of the violation of national sovereignty, nor any reference to the supporters of the rebellion, expressing Sudan’s rebuff to any solutions that come and are imposed from abroad because they are failed solutions, referring to some international experiences that have proven the failure of external solutions, as happened in the Arab Spring countries.

Al-Burhan sent several important messages to some alliances that stood by the rebellion and supported this war, saying, “Many talk about hunger and violations,” indicating that these things happen due to rebel attacks and in areas where the rebels are present.
