Al-Burhan: Outlaw RSF Crimes are More Dangerous than Israeli crimes in Gaza
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has affirmed the solidarity of the government and people of Sudan with the Palestinian people, praising their steadfastness and just and legitimate struggle to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Burhan said, while addressing the activities of the joint Arab-Islamic summit in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Monday, that a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East region will not be achieved except by ending the complete Israeli occupation of all occupied Arab territories, including the Syrian Golan.
TSC President added, “We join our voice with you all in appealing to the international community to accelerate the implementation of the two-state solution, cease fire, prevent the expansion of the conflict in the region, stop the forced displacement of the people of Gaza, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the displaced and refugees.”
In a related context, TSC President explained to the summit what is happening in Sudan, revealing the practices of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia that aim at vandalizing the Sudanese state, starve and displace the Sudanese people in a blatant challenge to international humanitarian law and international charters and norms. He stressed that the crimes committed by the outlaw RSF militia are more serious than the crimes of the Israeli occupation in Gaza and Lebanon. “I confirm that the great Sudanese people, with their history and civilization, and with the support and assistance of their siblings and friends, are capable of reaching the safety.” he added.
