Al-Burhan from General Command Headquarters in Khartoum: The battle is concluded

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, paid an inspection visit on Saturday to the Headquarters of the General Command of the Armed Forces, accompanied by TSC Member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces, General Yassir Al-Atta, Director of the Defense Industries System, General Mirghani Idris, and Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.

 

President Al-Burhan was received by the Chief of Staff, General Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein, and a number of the commanders of military units.

 

His Excellency praised the steadfastness and sacrifices of the officers and soldiers stationed at the command, saluting the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity from the Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, other regular forces and the mobilized individuals, pointing to the sacrifices of the officers and soldiers who stood firm for 20 months inside the General Command, defending the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people. He added that the recent victories achieved in various axes would not have happened without the people’s support for their armed forces, stressing that the battle is moving towards its end and that the rebellion will be terminated.

 

General Al-Burhan said “The armed forces are in their best condition and we will move forward with the determination of our people to eliminate the rebellion in all of Sudan.”

 

His Excellency also saluted the sacrifices and steadfastness of the officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the armed forces and the joint forces in the city of El-Fashir who taught the enemy lessons in bravery, courage and steadfastness.
