Al-Burhan Adviser Launches Attack on Militia Propaganda Machine

Political Affairs Adviser to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Amjad Farid, launched a sharp attack on what he described as disinformation campaigns driven by militia media platforms, saying that the fabrication of news and the creation of a “parallel reality” reflect growing confusion and internal collapse within the group.

Farid said the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia no longer possesses a political project or a social support base, adding that its propaganda machine is no longer capable of concealing the internal erosion affecting its ranks.

He further stated that recent false claims — ranging from alleged advances toward Omdurman to reports of fabricated visits — are merely attempts to cover up a deteriorating military and political reality.
