Al-Baraa bin Malik Corps Commander Survives Assassination Attempt

Al-Baraa bin Malik Corps Commander, Al-Misbah Abu Zeid, survived an assassination attempt when he was targeted by a strategic drone in Omdurman by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

The Corps’ Facebook page stated, “Al-Misbah survived an assassination attempt.” Al-Misbah has been subjected to similar incidents since he appeared on the battlefield as commander of the Al-Baraa Brigade, a militant group affiliated with Islamists.

The Rapid Support Forces militia is intensifying its drone strikes on safe and liberated areas to send a message that the capital is still unsafe.
