Al‑Atta Vows Imminent Collapse of RSF militia in Kordofan and Darfur

Assistant to the Commander‑in‑Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) General Yassir Al‑Atta, vowed a decisive victory over the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, predicting their imminent collapse in the Kordofan states and the Darfur region.

He made the remarks during a meeting with leaders of the Joint Force in Khartoum, held on the sidelines of a session of the National Security and Defense Council.

In his speech, Al‑Atta said the RSF militia “will flee Kordofan” just as it fled areas such as Al‑Gaili, Omdurman, Bahri, East Nile, Khartoum, Al‑Gezira, Sennar, and White Nile.

“They will flee soon and be driven out of Kordofan and from every inch of our beloved land in Darfur,” he added.

Al‑Atta described the fighting as a “war of dignity,” expressing confidence in victory: “This is not beyond reach; our trust and faith in Allah Almighty are great and unwavering, because Allah always grants victory to right and justice.”

He stressed unity among the different forces, praising the “will and determination” that unite the Army, the Joint Force, the Intelligence Service, the Sudan Shield Forces, and all factions of the People’s Resistance.

He concluded: “With Allah’s help, we will soon achieve the goals of the Sudanese nation by cleansing our country of these murderous, looting Janjaweed thugs.”
