Airstrikes Destroy Air Defense System and Drone Depots in Kordofan and Darfur

The Sudanese Armed Forces carried out a series of precision air operations over the past hours, targeting movements and reinforcements of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and allied groups across the Kordofan and Darfur fronts, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment.

Field sources reported that the Air Force successfully destroyed an air defense system belonging to the RSF militia in the Al-Dulaima area of South Kordofan, dealing a severe blow to the group’s defensive capabilities in the region.

In a related development, warplanes struck joint formations of Rapid Support Forces fighters and elements of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (al-Hilu faction) in the Al-Hejairat area of West Kordofan, inflicting heavy casualties and destroying multiple vehicles.

In Darfur, the Armed Forces launched drone strikes targeting RSF positions in Om Dokhun locality, Central Darfur. Air raids also hit the Sarafaya camp in South Darfur, part of a broader military plan to dismantle militia safe havens.

On the intelligence front, recent satellite imagery revealed the failure of RSF attempts to construct aircraft shelters (hangars) at Nyala Airport, after excavation sites were flooded. The images also showed extensive damage to a drone storage facility near the airport, following precise airstrikes previously carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces, disrupting militia plans to militarize the facility.
