Abdel-Rahim Dagalo’s Personal Security Team Killed in Nyala
Sources confirmed the deaths of several members of the close personal security detail of Abdel-Rahim Dagalo, the second-in-command of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, following concentrated airstrikes carried out by Sudanese Armed Forces warplanes against RSF positions in the city of Nyala.
According to the sources, the bodies of the security personnel, who were foreign nationals, were found beneath the rubble of a targeted building belonging to a prominent Nyala figure. The exact location where the bodies were recovered has been kept strictly confidential for security reasons.
Meanwhile, RSF intelligence in Nyala imposed tight security measures and a military cordon around the area beginning last Friday. This coincided with the discovery by RSF rescue teams of wreckage and the remains of luxury pickup trucks, in addition to two armoured vehicles that were completely destroyed inside the targeted site where the bodies of the foreign security personnel were found.
