Saudi Crown Prince Affirms Kingdom’s Commitment to Sudan’s Sovereignty, Unity and Territorial Integrity
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, held telephone talks on Tuesday with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, during which Al-Burhan renewed his solidarity with Saudi Arabia over the attacks it has been subjected to by Yemen’s Houthi group.
According to a statement issued by the TSC media office, TSC President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan held a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
According to the statement, Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan’s solidarity, government and people, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and condemned the attacks it has been subjected to. He renewed Sudan’s support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty and security, expressing his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast positions in support of Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, security, and stability.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the Crown Prince affirmed to Al-Burhan the Kingdom’s commitment to Sudan’s stability and to preserving its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. He also affirmed the Kingdom’s support for all efforts aimed at achieving stability in the country, paving the way for comprehensive development in Sudan and the return of displaced persons and refugees to their homes.
