Sudanese Armed Forces Secure “Maqjah” in Blue Nile, Pursue Retreating Militia Elements

The Sudanese Armed Forces have achieved a new strategic victory in the Blue Nile region, as the 4th Infantry Division— “Lions of the Blue Nile”—along with supporting forces, established full control over the area of “Maqjah” following precision military operations that crushed concentrations of the Dagalo terrorist militia and cleared the area of rebel elements.

Field reports, citing the 4th Infantry Division’s media, indicated that the operation was carried out under a well-coordinated military plan that led to a rapid collapse of militia defenses. Militia elements reportedly fled, leaving behind significant casualties and large quantities of military equipment seized by the Armed Forces.

Coinciding with this advance, substantial military reinforcements and additional troops have arrived at combat fronts in the region to consolidate gains and secure liberated areas, in preparation for broader operations toward planned strategic objectives.
