Interior Minister Chairs Secondary School Exams Emergency Committee, Confirms April 13 Schedule
Interior Minister Babiker Samra, head of the Secondary School Certificate Exams Emergency Committee, chaired an expanded meeting of the committee at the ministry’s headquarters, attended by Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and representatives of relevant institutions.
The meeting confirmed that all technical, administrative, and security arrangements have been completed for the Secondary School Certificate examinations to begin as scheduled on April 13, 2026, covering all examination centers inside and outside Sudan.
For his part, Undersecretary of Education Dr. Ahmed Khalifa said the ministry has strengthened coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, calling on students and parents to focus on proper academic and psychological preparation now that all organizational matters are under control.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing monitoring by the emergency committee to secure the examinations and ensure a safe and suitable environment for students across all states and external centers, safeguarding the integrity of the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate.
