For Second Day, Militia Drones Strike Hospitals in Kadugli

At least one person was killed and eight others were wounded on Wednesday after a drone attack carried out by militias affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) hit the Medical Corps Hospital in Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan state.

The strike on the Medical Corps Hospital came less than 24 hours after a similar drone attack targeted another medical facility in the same city, killing at least 15 people, including seven children.

Sudan Doctors Network spokesperson Razan Al-Mahdi said in a statement that “the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-Noth targeted the Medical Corps Hospital in Kadugli with a drone, resulting in the killing of one person and injuries to eight others.”
