Sudan Plans 10 Modern Slaughterhouses with Gulf Investment

 

Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Professor Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri, announced arrangements to attract investors from Gulf countries to form partnerships with Sudanese private sector entities. The initiative aims to channel capital into integrated projects in veterinary services, enhancing production, productivity, self-sufficiency, and boosting exports for the benefit of the nation and its citizens.

 

 

During a meeting at his office in Red Sea State with Sudanese university professors, national organizations, and private sector representatives, the minister revealed a plan to establish ten modern slaughterhouses adhering to international standards. He emphasized that this step is part of the ministry’s strategy to develop the animal resources and fisheries sector in both the short and long term.
