SAF Encircles Bara; Entire Militia Convoy Destroyed Around Al-Nahud

Sudanese military sources confirmed that the city of Al-Obeid in North Kordofan has been secured by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), adding that the army has also taken control of several villages on the city’s outskirts.

The sources told Al Arabiya/Al Hadath that supply lines to Al-Obeid are functioning normally, denying reports of large-scale displacement from the city.

Meanwhile, the SAF and allied forces are advancing toward the city of Bara, which is under the control of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), with the army having completed the encirclement of the city.

Military sources reported that the SAF is engaging in intense battles against the RSF militia in the vicinity of Bara. The army is advancing along multiple axes with heavy reinforcements, indicating a clear escalation of combat operations in the area.

In a parallel development, the Sudanese Air Force targeted a convoy of 105 militia combat vehicles around Al-Nuhud, destroying a large portion and scattering the remainder. Furthermore, three ambulances transporting the injured to the hospital in Al-Fula were destroyed, resulting in significant casualties among the militia ranks.
