Bodies on El-Fashir–Tawila Road Prompt Urgent Appeal

The Coordination Committee of the Resistance Committees in El-Fashir has issued an urgent humanitarian appeal to recover and properly bury bodies scattered along the road between El-Fashir and Tawila.

In its appeal, the Committee stated that there are stranded people in dire humanitarian conditions along the same route, calling for immediate intervention.

It urged the Tawila Emergency Room and all humanitarian and medical organizations to form rapid response and rescue teams to retrieve and bury the bodies in a dignified and humane manner.

The Committee also called for providing first aid and rescuing any injured persons, emphasizing the need to coordinate efforts with volunteers across the neighborhoods and areas between El-Fashir and Tawila.

“The situation is catastrophic, the moment is critical, and the humanitarian duty demands immediate action,” the Committee said.
