Al-Burhan: No negotiations with any party (Quartet) or others

President of of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, offered condolences to the family of the martyr Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Mirghani Zarroug in the city of Atbara, who was martyred in the city of El-Fashir.
Al-Burhan said that the Armed Forces have continued to send convoys of martyrs to preserve the country’s gains, unity, sovereignty, and security, affirming that the Armed Forces will remain the country’s safety valve against enemies.
He also expressed his condolences to the men of the native administration who were martyred yesterday in Al-Mazroub area, saying: “We send a message to anyone who doubts that the Armed Forces have specific targets directed against particular tribes — we affirm that the Armed Forces do not target specific tribes or areas; rather, its aim is to confront the enemy, and we will continue to fight and confront the enemy wherever it is found.”
Al-Burhan said: “We will not retreat from the pledge, and there will be no negotiations with any party, whether the Quartet or others. We are ready to negotiate what is fit for Sudan and ends the war in a way that restores Sudan’s dignity and unity, and removes the possibility of any rebellion.”
He affirmed that anyone who seeks peace and places the interest of the Sudanese people foremost is welcomed, but that imposing peace or a government on a people who reject it will not be accepted, stressing that “the blood of the martyrs is precious and valuable,” and adding: “We will continue on the path toward achieving peace.”
