SAF launches surprise attacks on RSF militia in Al-Fashir and Babanousa

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) launched unexpected and fierce attacks on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Al-Fashir, North Darfur, and in Babanousa, West Kordofan.

In the Babanousa and Al-Fashir operations, the SAF inflicted heavy losses on the enemy in lives and equipment.

In Al-Fashir, the army and joint forces carried out an effective offensive operation against the RSF militia in the northeastern axis on Wednesday morning.

The Armed Forces inflicted heavy losses in Al-Fashir and succeeded in expanding its defensive perimeter.

Journalist Muzammil Abu Al-Gasim, citing his sources, revealed that the army’s successful attack led to the flight of the militia commander in the northern axis to Mellit.

In a related development, the armed forces, represented by the 22nd Infantry Division in Babanousa, carried out effective qualitative operations on Tuesday, inflicting casualties on the RSF militia and destroying several enemy combat vehicles.
