UAE continues to supply RSF militia with weapons via Kufra Airport in Libya

Informed sources revealed the arrival of a number of Emirati cargo planes at Kufra Airport in Libya, loaded with weapons and ammunition, to be transported via the border triangle to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

A Libyan eyewitness confirmed the arrival of a Yushin 11-76TD cargo plane, registered EX-76017 (FSQ436), belonging to Fly Sky Airlines, arriving from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He revealed the arrival of similar planes from Benghazi loaded with weapons, artillery, ammunition, and drone boxes, noting that the aircraft’s cargo was unloaded by the Subal Al-Salam Battalion.

In a related context, military sources revealed to Sudan Tribune that the rebel militia had received a new batch of weapons via the border triangle linking Sudan, Libya, and Egypt.

The sources confirmed that Libyan groups—which they declined to identify—transferred weapons to the rebel militia in the border triangle, which the forces, in turn, transported to Darfur.

They explained that the arms transfer coincided with the appearance of militia commander Hemeidti two days ago in an area in Darfur. They suggested that the weapons likely included anti-aircraft missiles, jamming devices, and missiles to intercept drones.

The army’s warplanes are conducting continuous airstrikes on Nyala Airport in an attempt to prevent supplies from reaching the militia.
