Volunteer Action Expert: UN organizations are negligent towards Sudanese refugees
Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar, a voluntary action expert and policy advisor at the Sudanese Family Planning Association, said that the end of the war is like Sudan gaining its second independence after 56, while at the same time blaming UN organizations for their negligence towards Sudanese refugees and their discrimination against other refugees.
She said in an interview with the (Sudanese Echoes) platform, “The effects of wars are harsh, and the Sudanese have suffered from them.” She added, “The recovery experience is not easy and requires a long period of time for everyone to overcome its effects.” She pointed out that the most affected are women and children.
