Sabah Musa: Russian veto is a “slap” to (Taqaddum) and Britain

The Egyptian political analyst and specialist in Sudanese affairs, Sabah Musa, said that the Russian veto against the British decision regarding Sudan is a slap to Britain and the Coordination Body of Civilian Democratic Forces (Taqaddum).

Sabah affirmed, in an interview with the (Sudanese Echoes) platform, that if the war in Sudan was between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) alone, it would have ended. She pointed out that all of Sudan’s neighboring countries support the RSF militia except for Egypt and Eritrea, describing South Sudan’s position as gray. She said that Egypt is fully aware of how, when and where it is proceeding in the Sudanese file.

Sabah asserted Egypt’s ability to separate its interests from its national security. Sabah called on SAF to achieve breakthrough at the battle ground and regional levels within the next two months before the new US president officially assumes office.
