Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Sudan will not starve and there are no indicators of famine

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, said that the people of Sudan will not starve as long as there is an agricultural season in Sudan, stating that what we hear in international forums and Western circles of allegations of an impending famine in Sudan is just a slander to realize certain purposes.

The Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry added, in press statements at Portsudan on Monday on the occasion of the launch of a Turkish humanitarian aid grant, that Sudan will not starve and there is Turkey and brothers from Arab countries including Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other Asian countries as well as other sister countries standing by Sudan and supporting it.

He said that international claims of famine in Sudan are a fabrication to achieve purposes and agendas targeting Sudan.
